13th THIRD CIRCULAR |
[Next Section] - [ CONTENTS ]
This third circular provides further detailed information about the 13th World Sanskrit Conference, in particular about the programme, participants and their papers. Information contained in the second circular remains valid, unless explicitly modified in this circular, and so will not in general be repeated here; if you have mislaid your own copy of the second circular, the information will still be retained on the conference web-site <http://www.arts.ed.ac.uk/sanskrit/13thWSC/> and may be consulted there.
If you have not sent in your registration and booking forms (available on the web-site), please do so as soon as possible. We are already experiencing problems through lack of adequate addresses for some intending participants who have sent in abstracts and these will only increase as the conference draws nearer. Please, therefore, make sure that we do have up-to-date contact information for you, in case we need to contact you individually or collectively nearer to the time of the conference.
The remainder of this circular consists of three further separate
files/documents:
a provisional timetable, a list of participants and the titles of
their papers (in alphabetical order of names within each section), and
various further information. Further changes to the arrangements for
the conference since the issue of the second circular are the
introduction of a new section 14, Culture and Tradition, with several
panels now included within it, and the decision to run five sessions
concurrently rather than four, in order to accommodate the increased
number of papers submitted and accepted from our original estimates.
