Papers should be no more than 20 minutes in length; the total time allowed for each paper is strictly limited to 30 minutes including discussion. The length of the written version intended for publication should be agreed with the section chairpersons. Papers offered without special invitation will be selected on the basis of one-page abstracts (300-400 words). The final deadline for submission of abstracts is the end of December 2005; anyone needing an early decision on acceptance should send the abstract before the end of September. They should be sent to the secretariat on paper but preferably also in electronic form (by e-mail or on a disk, Word - PC or Mac - is preferred). A decision about acceptance or rejection of each paper will be notified by the end of February 2006, or by the end of October 2005, if the abstract has been received by the end of September. Invited speakers are asked to send the abstract of their paper by the end of May 2006. All abstracts received in time will be published in the abstract booklet.
